1. High thermal efficiency, Environment-friendly industrial fuel oil

C9+ is a petroleum product of over 9 carbons. C9+ is produced during naphtha cracking procedure in petrochemical industry. It is registered as
Transient Fuel Oil No.2
by the Petroleum Business Act of 2001.
It is used as fuel oil replacing Kerosene, Bunker-oil, Diesel, etc.

2. Product Standards
Test Item Specification   Test Item Specification
  Fluidized Point(¡É) Under -20     Ash(Wt%) Under 0.05
  Flash Point(Tag,¡É) Over 40     T-Sulfur(Wt%) Under 0.2
  Kinematic Viscosity(40¡É,cSt) 0.9~3.0     Color(Visual) Black
  Distillation Range(90%,¡É) 160~270     Marking Agent(mg/L) Over 10
  Carbon Residue(In 10V-%
  residue after distillation,Wt%)
Under 15     Copper Corrosion(50¡É,3Hour) Under 1
  Water & Sediment(V%) Under 0.5

3. Safety Matters
It is recommended to use C9+ after reading the provided MSDS. It has to be used in the legally permitted places. If any problem occurs, do not hesitate to contact the providers.
Due to C9+¡¯s aromatic substances, it may cause damage to the rubber or plastic parts of the combustion system. So, the rubber or plastic parts should be replaced to the chemical-resistant material and periodic checks are essential.

4. Legal Matters
C9+ is newly registered fuel oil as the name of ¡®Transient Fuel Oil No. 2¡¯ by the Presidential Decree No.17054(Petroleum Business Act; July 1, 2001). To prevent the illegal circulation, marking agent(black) is added. It is illegal to mix C9+ with other fuel oils.
C9+ can be used where heavy oil can be used on the basis of the Clean Air Conservation Act(The notification 2001-1970 of Ministry of Environment).

5. Technical Matters
Attention is required to select appropriate fuel pump because C9+ has different physical and chemical properties such as kinematic viscosity and specific gravity from Kerosene, Bunker-oil, Diesel, etc. And the required pressure and flow rate differs, so adjust the air to fuel percentage for high thermal efficiency. It is reasonable to exchange the strainer for heavy oil to the strainer for Kerosene/Diesel and periodic checks are also needed.
